207th Exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours

The 207th Exhibition of the Royal Institute will be held as in previous years at the Mall Galleries, The Mall, London SW1, from 3-18 April, open 10am to 5pm daily, closing at 5pm on the final day. The RI was formed to exhibit the best watercolours and to show non-members’ works alongside the individual collections by Members, a policy that is upheld today.

Showing a diversity of styles and techniques, from traditional uses of watercolours to more experimental and innovative paintings. Works on display are produced by members of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI) and other artists whose pictures have been selected to hang alongside these by the RI Council, including many young painters using water-soluble media in often new and exciting ways.

The Baohong Artists' Prize awarded to a non-member for excellence was awarded to Juliette Losq for 'Corpus'.
